Our Technicians will be applying two different types of pesticides in two formulations to get results as quickly as possible. All of the pesticides used undergo approximately $100 million dollars worth of US EPA safety testing before they are released for sale. Our primary product for bed bug control is Phantom, a commercial pesticide that is non-repellant and has no known immunity or resistance in bed bug specimens. We also use an Insect Growth Regulator, called Gentrol, to interrupt the bed bug's lifecycle and affect its ability to reproduce.

Lastly, we will install several devices to give you long term control. One, a bed bug proof mattress encasement, to prevent any insects from re-infesting your mattress. Two, a box spring cover whose material is impregnated with a low dose of pesticide, ensuring that any insects moving in or out of the box spring will be affected. Three, bed bug traps designed for furniture legs, so that insects trying to get to or away from the bed will be caught. These three devices are a tool in ongoing bed bug management and prevention. The mattress encasement and traps do not "get old" or expire, they will work as long as they are in place and in good working order. The box spring cover will last for approximately two years.

You can expect an immediate and significant reduction in activity. Although our products work on contact they are residual products designed to work over time. Insects not exposed to the initial treatment for whatever reason, will still be affected by our products as they move across or into treated areas. Our second visit will be approximately 30 days later to repeat the application and assess its success.
